Maitjian Welke is a technology executive and entrepreneur who serves as the Founder and Co-Owner of CMIT Solutions Silicon Valley, an IT managed services and cybersecurity company. She co-founded the business in 2009 and has led its growth across multiple Silicon Valley locations, providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, consulting, and CIO/CISO advisory services to small and mid-sized organizations. With more than two decades of experience in technology and software engineering, she previously held engineering and leadership roles at major Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, VMware, and American Express. Holding a degree in Computer Science, Welke combines deep technical expertise with executive leadership, focusing on helping businesses strengthen cybersecurity readiness and technology strategy. In addition to running CMIT Solutions, she contributes to industry education and workforce development through cybersecurity training initiatives and professional leadership involvement within technology and business communities.
